Practical JavaScript Course Review

I went through the "Practical JavaScript" course over at WatchandCode.com and thought I'd write up a short little review for anybody interested in reading it.

The course walks you through creating a 'Todo List' application in 'vanilla' JavaScript.

The author of the course, Gordon Zhu, does a great job teaching and I really liked how it's organized, showing you how to create a simple version of the app and then slowly iterating, making each version more complex.

It was really helpful for me to see the process in which somebody would take to actually develop a web app from scratch.

This was also the first time I really got the chance to start manipulating the DOM instead of just writing code that logs to the console.

Seeing how JavaScript can manipulate an HTML document was extremely insightful.

I highly recommend giving the course a try!
